In April 2026, UFMCC held conference calls with pastors and spiritual leaders about the denomination’s future. In one call, several pastors discovered a shared sense of purpose and continued exploring ways to spark motivation and innovation that could broaden UFMCC’s impact worldwide.
They then formed an independent steering committee to identify key needs and ideas that could expand the church’s impact. After consulting UFMCC leaders about how a church impact conference could strengthen leadership resources, the group began collaborative planning.

The conference is anticipated to take place annually during Presidents’ Week in February, running from Tuesday to Thursday. The first SPARK Conference will be hosted by MCC of the Palm Beaches in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and future gatherings may be hosted by other churches or held in different cities.
